1987-1999:
Scott Dunham works for a Dallas-based answering service, first handling sales & customer service, then later moving on to manage over 500 apartment and small business accounts & 6 vendors.
1999-2003:
Scott decides to use the experience he's gained to start his own company, Commline. He begins experimenting with offering answering services nationwide.
May 2003:
Chad Phillips works with Scott in a consulting role, and they begin to explore the idea of forming a new company.
October 2003:
Chad and Scott formally begin Apartment Lines answering service, rolling in Scott's old business, and commit to making high quality, flat-rate answering services available to apartment communities nationwide.
